Multiple initiatives have been developed or carried out since our Spring 2018 community meeting, where we held a public discussion about the data.

• The district employs Licensed Professional Social Workers who are equipped to provide assessment and therapeutic interventions through a trauma informed lens

• The district has made Social Emotional Learning (SEL) as a priority in the District Strategic Plan. SEL strategic committee meets to work through the strategic action plan that was created in the Spring of 2018

• PfISD obtained a grant to send middle school personnel to Restorative Practice training in the Spring of 2019.
